🚀 Introducing WordWise: Your Pocket Dictionary with a Voice!
I recently whipped up a fun little project called WordWise, a dictionary app that’s as stylish as it is functional. Using just HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, I tapped into the Dictionary API to bring you word meanings, parts of speech, phonetic spellings, and even audio pronunciations! 🎙️

✨ What It Does

Search Any Word: Type in a word, hit "Search," and boom—get its definition, part of speech, and phonetic notation.
Hear It Out Loud: If the API has an audio file, click the speaker icon to hear the word pronounced. 🎵
Sleek Design: Rocking a purple (#ae9cff) and white color scheme with a centered card layout—modern and minimal!

🛠️ How I Built It

HTML: A simple structure with an <audio> tag, input field, button, and result div.
CSS: Flexbox for layout, custom borders, and a subtle box-shadow to make it pop. Styled with the Poppins font for that clean vibe.
JavaScript: Fetch API magic to grab data, dynamic DOM updates, and a sprinkle of error handling for when words go missing.

🎉 Cool Features

Dynamic Audio: Fixed a pesky bug where the sound wouldn’t play—now it’s smooth as butter!
Responsive: Works great on any screen size thanks to vmin units.
Error Feedback: Can’t find a word? It’ll let you know with a friendly message.

🌈 Challenges & Wins

Ran into a snag with the audio URLs (double "https:"—oops!), but after some debugging, it’s all good now. The biggest win? Adding optional chaining in JS to make it crash-proof and renaming selectors with a color twist (e.g., purple-result-box) for extra flair!

🔮 What’s Next?

Thinking of adding a loading spinner, support for multiple definitions, and maybe a dark mode toggle. Suggestions welcome!
